We all know that real estate investing is a team activity. Since we can’t do it all ourselves, the companies and individuals we have around us often determine whether we are successful or unsuccessful.

Having an insurance company who specializes in investment properties is a must for us all. After all, accidents do happen. What about someone coming to deliver pizza and they fall on the stairs? Not to mention water damage, earthquakes and other unforeseen disasters. Plus, most lenders will require the property is insured before they lend you any money. Jason Beeman of Beeman Appraisals Guest Speaker January 21st!

November 19th Speaker – Scott Carson “The Note Guy”

We are very happy to announce that our guest speaker for the
November 19th meeting is

“The Note Guy” Scott Carson of
Inverse Investments, LLC.

Scott has been in the mortgage, finance, and banking
industry since 2001 and an active real estate investor since
2002. He has been actively buying notes on residential and
commercial properties since 2005. His knowledge base is so
broad that he has started sharing his methods with others.
He is based out of Texas, and speaks at events nationally,
and this November 19th, he will be in our meeting room to
share his knowledge with us.

Buying notes is a way to make money in real estate that not
too many people know or understand, much less utilize. In
many ways, you are acting like a bank, as opposed to a
landlord. (Doesn’t sound too bad, does it?)

That’s because, you own the loan on the house, not the house
itself.

Scott will give us more insight on the benefits of owning
notes, as opposed to owning the real estate, and how to get
started in this lucrative and much-less complicated way to
invest in real estate. No leaky toilets, no dealing with
flakey tenants.

Make it a point to be at the next meeting and bring a pad of
paper and pencil. You will be taking a ton of notes (notes
that is, not “notes”!)

October 15th Guest Speaker: John Syron of Aurelian Capitol Management

John will tell us all about a loan program that can put
$150,000.00 cash in you hands fast, and all you have to do
is sign the loan agreement. (Naturally, you need to be
pre-qualified in advance, and pre-qual is based on credit
scores.)

Oh, and I’ve been working with last month’s speaker –
Merrill Chandler of Credit Sense and we are just putting the
finishing touches on a replay of the presentation Merrill
did for REINLAC at the September meeting.

information about this “credit optimizing” system with
family or friends, you will be able to in just a few days.

well with the talk by John Syron of Aurelian. Your

sometimes amazing deals just drop into your lap. And when
